Scope and Contents of the Materials

This collection details the early personal development and subsequent professional activities of Charles W. Bryan, Jr., a graduate of Washington University's School of Engineering and Board of Trustee member.  The collection contains a rich plethora of Washington University memorabilia and scrapbooks relating to Bryan's involvement in shipbuilding during the World Wars, as well as his association with the Pullman Car Company.

The collection is divided into personal development, professional development, and personal and professional development.
