This collection contains articles written by and of interest to Holmes Smith as well as a scrapbook of photographs and drawings. The material is arranged alphabetically by subject.
Collection Historical Note
Holmes Smith (1863-1937) was a longtime faculty member of Washington University. He came to the University in 1884 as a drawing instructor and became professor of drawing and history of art in 1907.
