Swomley, Jr.; etc.
Collection Historical Note
In the spring of 1965, New Left Federation was created to handle the publicity and fundraising activities for political and social action groups at Washington University including Friends of the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee, the Student Peace Union, Students for a Democratic Society, WAGE, and the W.E.B. DuBois Club. Each group operated separately in its own special area of interest with its own organizational structure and membership. All but WAGE, an ad hoc committee of Student Assembly, were affiliated with national organizations.
