Item 2: Autograph letters signed from Gosse to Dr. William Showell Rogers thanking him for various gifts - primarily books - sending annual holiday greetings and arranging meetings. Subjects mentioned include Robert Louis Stevenson, Austin Dobson , Arthur Christopher Benson, and various books by Gosse, including The Secret of Narcisse, Questions at Issue, Gossip in a Library, and Life and Letters of Dr. Donne, apparently unpublished.
